Trends on the interwebs

Filed under: Uncategorized — kjmcgrath @ 2:13 pm

Here’s a interesting infographic video of recent trend across the interwebs, consider this short video in relation to how Frontline portrayed changes in the social and cultural implications in the Digital Nation program. Also interesting to consider is tone of each (lighthearted and sense of amazement vs serious and forewarning.) This video is defiantly a product of the times both graphically and in its content. This graphic relates to many I have seen from graphic designers as information data becomes a focus for new design challenges. It is interesting to consider methods graphic designers have been using to communicate effectively in products and through data and how those choices can influence geographic communication and techniques of map presentation and design.
