Beautiful, purpose-driven maps and graphics

Filed under: Uncategorized — markharrower @ 12:18 pm

This is pure map eye candy. One BIG concern I have is that it is easy to miss lots of good stuff here since it isn’t always obvious WHAT TO CLICK ON (!). For example, I just discovered the cool “depth control” vertical slider in the screen capture below. I’m also not sure how much material to expect and, related, not sure if I’ve seen all of it?! Still, beautiful design work.

Be sure to just click on lots of stuff – most of it is UI. I think National Geographic could use a UI/UX expert 🙂
